Best friend

Best Friend

At your early teen age, it feels like you're at the top of the world and everyone is looking at you wherever you go. What I'm trying to say is, you feel like you got older over the night and everyone has to respect you.

As a teen girl, I wanted a perfect life, had lots of dreams and visions for myself and of course marriage dreams were included. One thing I know is that God made us differently - some teen girls want all the male attention and want to express how we feel and look like that big aunty whose shape we admire so much, while some other teen girl want to focus on her dreams, get her goals right, have all the cash she comes in contact with and prove to those little boys that she can do without them. Either way, we all feel differently but how about me who wanted a combination of the two.... Hmmmm. At this point i want to introduce you to friend and a life
God is that friend, Jesus Christ is that friend. As a teen girl at the age 14/15, I became interested in the things of God and I intentionally paid attention to His precepts from His Word, my Pastors at church and every means I could learn about Him.
Prayer, that was the life style I adopted. I had issues trusting my girl friends and of course mum said that I couldn't have a male friend yet. So, I needed someone I could trust will keep my secrets and help me out of every confusion.

Alot was going on on my mind, it was urgent. I learnt that prayers worked and I decided to do it, i decided to make it a life style.
There was a problem: I was in a boarding house and I didn't have all the time to kneel and talk to my new best Friend just at one place all the time. So, I started talking to Him everywhere. I told Him every pain, dream and joy. Someone asked me one day, she said, "Do you have to pray about everything?", and I cannot remember giving an answer as I just continued with my day.
Little did i know I was building a relationship. COMMUNICATION is a key factor to any relationship. Gid's presence was with me everywhere. Ohhh how loved I felt. Its supernatural so I really can't explain.

Succour Girl, to really be a support, the helper God has made you to be, you have need a relationship stronger than that you have with anyone. Those little boys and their love stories can wait, cause it's not time for it yet. The time for love will come but trust me you need to be focused on God and you destiny which is God's purpose for you on earth (we will talk about this some day by God's grace). God will teach you all things through His word for it is the wisdom of God. He will even teach you how to handle your emotions and academics. You may ask, how?. He will teach you through His Word and through His Holy Spirit.
God's desire for you as a Succour is written in Isaiah 29:11.
Start a life of Prayer today and enjoy the unending peaceful and focused life with God.

Once Upon a Time

As a female teenager, you may want to keep to yourself most feelings and thoughts and you'll sure have a whole lot of questions to ask, especially with this whole femininity, virginity, strength and so much.

First, you need someone who you can trust will keep your secrets and also give you the advice you won't regret receiving. Your idea of a best friend is one who can stand for you, help you, understand you and cry with you. Ooohhh how you want to be understood.

Secondly, your emotions are changing and a whole lot is going on inside you, you want to cry out to someone and still want to be seen as Miss Brave.
This age period gets even more interesting with time.
You're a Succour, a help, a support but first, you have to get it right with yourself before you become the SHE that can SUCCOUR all the generations and destinies tied round that little loins of yours.

We will have a great time together, talking and learning about gaining strength and letting our strength be lent, and one day our story to those who look up to us will start with a smile and confidence, saying
ONCE UPON A TIME!!!
